About Vistara (Air India)
Vistara (IATA: UK) was India's first full-service premium airline, founded as a joint venture between Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines in 2015. Known for setting new standards in Indian aviation with its three-cabin product (Economy, Premium Economy, Business Class), complimentary meals on all flights, and a Western-style service culture, Vistara quickly became the preferred carrier for India's business travellers.
In November 2024, Vistara merged with Air India following the Tata Group's acquisition of Air India. Routes previously operated by Vistara continue under the Air India brand with IATA code AI. The merger created a significantly larger full-service Indian carrier. Club Vistara loyalty program points were migrated to Air India's Flying Returns program. Following the Vistara-Air India merger in November 2024, Club Vistara points were migrated to Air India's Flying Returns program. Miles can now be earned and redeemed across Air India's global network and Star Alliance partners.
